I took a small dose ~.8g. I did feel the initial anxiety, the wave of tension that comes on. I was aware of it and accepted, it felt a bit easier to step back and recognize it as a symptom. My stomach was totally fine. I was at Walgreens wandering the aisles while waiting for friends and was not stressed about the public place. Not a ton of people, but I just enjoyed moving around. I was in the moment and had a good time with the movie, locked in. It wasn’t very strong, which was probably a conglomeration of things. 

Ultimately I think the pills functioned well. Especially with the knowledge of how a come up feels, as well as what the pills do. I think that they’d be really good in a clinical session, helping ease the stress physically, but also with some ‘placebo’ of having a safety net. 

Definitely good for the more experienced as well. For the conscious/reverent folks who know that they can’t defeat the mushroom. I felt more comfortable letting go.

I have had the opportunity to take Pre-Trip on two separate occasions before mushroom journeys. The mushrooms used were quite potent, and the first time was with 1.5 grams, and the second session was with 2.2 grams. Both sessions were the most relaxed come-up phases I have experienced, and it was much easier to meditate through the beginning portion, and really sink into the music. Both times there was no nausea at all. It also felt that the experiences were still just as powerful as I would expect- no blunting. 

I also had the chance to take Pre-Trip prior to a Hawaiian Baby Woodrose experience- which is a substance that is very known for nausea. There was no nausea, and the experience felt very relaxed, dreamy, and still very very strong, with lots of magic. I highly recommend this supplement- there was clearly a lot of scientific thought that went into the development of this formula, and I really appreciate that a product like this exists.
